The Perfect 30A Florida Bach Trip!

My Dream 30A Bachelorette Weekend: A Wedding Photographer Turned Bride's Guide!

Before I was even engaged, I always knew exactly where I would want my bachelorette weekend to be - 30A, Florida. Having visited this beautiful part of Florida countless times over the years, I fell in love with its charm, incredible food, stunning beaches, and luxury. Because I knew how special this trip would be, I insisted on being the one to plan it to make it just as special for my girls. I spent months researching and planning every detail of our itinerary. Out of everything during my bridal season, this was the celebration I looked forward to the most. It was the perfect opportunity to gather my favorite girls in one of my favorite places, slow down, make memories, and soak in every moment before the wedding day arrived.

Where we stayed was something that was super important to me. With 9 girls, I wanted to make sure everyone slept comfortably. Having a pool was a huge want, and it being in a good location was extremely important. This house surpassed all of my hopes and expectations. This house is nestled in between Rosemary Beach and WaterSound Beach - right near everything we wanted. It was absolutely perfect in every way. My parents are the best and gifted us this stay, and I will be forever thankful!

Bridesmaid Gift Bags

I had the most fun picking out goodies for my girls. I knew I wanted their gifts to be practical. I didn't want "bridesmaid" on everything. Instead, I wanted to include things they could use on the trip and keep afterwards. Most everything I was able to find on Amazon. I was obsessed with the beach bags, the matching custom sweatshirts, and especially our matching trucker hats! Links below!

Day 1 : Arrival + Bonfire

stop 1: The Pearl Rooftop bar

We kicked off the trip at The Pearl in Rosemary Beach for some drinks and appetizers on their rooftop while we waited for the rest of the girls to get in! Rosemary Beach is my favorite spot in all of the surrounding areas.

Stop 2: Bonfire on the beach!

I couldn't think of a better way to kick off our weekend than with a bonfire on the beach! We blasted music, drank, made s'mores, played with sparklers, and had SO much fun together.

Day 2: Beach, Pool, Dinner, + Going Out!

We started off our morning with breakfast at Donut Hole in Rosemary which is located near my favorite public beach access. After we ate, most of us headed to the beach. Something I knew going into this trip was that sadly not only is August still sooo hot in Florida, but the seaweed is so bad. Just something to keep in mind when planning your trip. Due to my timeline, I didn't have a choice - but it was still nice to sit on the beach...even if it didn't last long lol! We were all thrilled to go home and get into the nice pool. It felt sooo good!

Old Florida Fish House is arguably the best restaurant in the area in my opinion. I love sitting outside there, and their menu is one of my favorites.

Pictures before and after dinner was a must of course! Only 8 of my bridesmaids were on this trip. Would you believe me if I said I had 14 bridesmaids total - lol!
After dinner, we went back home to change, and we went out.
Most everyone knows AJ's is THE place to party in Grayton Beach. Prepare to wait in a line, pay a cover, be one out of 30 bachelorette parties, and be shoulder to shoulder inside - lol. We did have the best time though!

Day 3: Crab Island Boat Day + Hibachi

Crab island Boat Day

I think we would all agree that our boat day on Crab Island was our favorite part of the whole trip.
The girls probably hated me for the early wake up call (it's about an hour drive from Rosemary beach)...but it was totally worth it.
We went with Sea Chase Charters, and let me just say that Capt. Chase made the entire experience for us. He was truly amazing!!! Before we got on the boat, we grabbed some mixed drinks + jello shots at the marina. We were able to bring our own drinks + snacks onto the boat. Crab Island does have vendors that drive around on boats with food!
We stayed out there from 9am-1pm. The 4 hour charter was the perfect amount of time. We did the Extra Large Double Decker Pontoon with 2 slides, a Paddleboard, and Water Couch.
Truly THE BEST time and my fav part of the trip.

Room Surprises

I was so excited to be able to surprise my girls with a set of pajamas + slippers that the team from Birdy Grey so graciously gave to us as a special treat. We laid these out on each girls bed as well as a printed itinerary of the weekend. I also made custom seashell signs to put on the bedroom doors so they knew whose room was who. My sister was my maid of honor, and she did an incredible job at making sure my vision came to life while still keeping it a surprise for me. My girls did such a great job decorating the house - I was SO shocked. We chose the theme "Last Toast on the Coast" and it couldn't have been more perfect for the weekend. The face sticks + tattoos of my husband were a hit! Linking below some of my favorite decor pieces.

After being on the boat for the afternoon, we came home and took a nap. It was the BEST idea to save the hibachi night for this night, because it was so nice to just stay in. Mr. Hibachi at home set up everything for us on the back patio by the pool. The food was so good, and the show was fun. I can taste the saki just looking at these photos lol!

After we ate, we spent the remainder of our last night playing bachelorette games (my favorite one being having to guess what my husbands answers were), a little lingerie shower, and lots of laughing.

This trip was truly the bachelorette trip of my dreams. I couldn't have asked or hoped for a better weekend. I missed all my girls that weren't able to come, but how special to have all of my favorite people in one place. There are only a handful of times something that special happens, and I will never forget this trip!

Below is the typed up itinerary of the weekend. I couldn't recommend 30A being the destination for your bachelorette trip more!
Soak in this sweet season as much as you can. I can confirm it flies by so fast, just like everyone says!
